Ways to save money

 This list will also be filled up as I remember more things. Feel free to let me know if I forgot anything.

Groom your dog yourself

It may be costy to buy the supplies needed, but once you have them you will use them for years! By grooming your dog on your own you get a better relationship with your dog, the dog will look as you like it to look (with some training) and you get to know your dog inside out and can faster learn to spot when something is wrong. The coat always grows back out! So don't be afraid of experimenting!

Make your own items

By making your own toys, collars, harnesses, leashes, treats etc you can save some money and get get a hobby.

Brush your dogs teeth

I will repeat this a lot. By brushing your dog's teeth you will prevent tartar buildup, gumdiseases and expensive vetbills.

Keep your dog fit and healthy

A healthy dog is a happy dog! If you keep your dog fit you will avoid secondary diseases and having to spend money on ways to undo the obesity and treat the diabetes and other things that might occur. Overly grown toenails can cause painful jointproblems. The more you prevent issues to happen the longer the dog will live and the less money you have to spend on vetbills and special treatments.

Ensurance

You never know when accidents will happen. Having ensurance on your pet is a good lifesaver.
